Too difficult to use/understand, don't want to learn a new OS
Doesn't support the latest hardware well enough
Won't work on my current hardware
Doesn't support software I need to use
Doesn't support video games well enough
Too buggy/unstable compared to Windows
Linux community is too diverse/has too many distros/needs focus
Open source software is not good enough
The above is a report from an unofficial survey by well known website.
Well for a common user only thing they know is they see something written as windows when their computer starts .
Ofcourse you know there are many who donot even know what an OS is. What they usually is they play movies or some music or some games or a little internet surfing (facebook) and thats all.Now when they do these they under go some processes to get that media or game etc. The main risk they handle at that time is the viruses .Which is spreading throughout networks, internet ,storage medias etc. Then comes the speed of computer : when viruses infect they effect the speed and when speed effects your computer it effects you.
This is happening just because we use windows.
